A fairy tale gone wrong
Mahohara Odelia Pinot is an 18 year old Indonesian model, dubbed the cat eyed Paris Hilton. She is married to Prince Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra and is now coming forward with statements of horrifying abuse and rape.
When named one of “Indonesia’s 100 Most Valuable Women” by Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia magazine, Mahohara was regarded as a gorgeous young socialite, and had a lot of suitors waiting in line. It is possible to see a gallery of her photos beneath, together with movie.
She met the Prince in December of 2006 when Mahohara was just 15 years old. She married him in August of 2008. She claims that for nine months, the Prince held her captive, drugging her, raping her, and abusing her.
She says that she was compelled to appear happy at social functions, and when she refused to own intercourse with him, he would cut her having a razor.
“Every time I went for events they forced me to smile and would torture me if I did not do what they said.”
Interestingly he is suing her and her mom for 1.8 million for defamation, but says he will drop the suit if she comes back to him.
Her mom, Ms. Fajarina, is sticking to her guns although saying,
“The things I’ve been afraid of were revealed to be true. Manohara has suffered physical abuse. She’s got several razor cuts on her chest. I will sue him. No parent could be silent if their child was treated in such a barbaric way.”
And Manohara just isn’t planning on returning to him, she has lastly filed for divorce, but is still really traumatized.
“I am still traumatized by all that happened and it has left an impact on me. Sexual abuse and sexual harassment were like a daily routine for me, and he did that every time I did not want to have sexual intercourse. I could never think a normal man could do such things. Some parts of my body were cut by a razor.”
The Prince denies all of the allegations, and just isn’t handling the situation properly.
“There’s an element of sadness because he truly loves Manohara. If I was in his position, I wouldn’t love her anymore. But perhaps the prince thinks she is too young and was brainwashed by her mother.”
