“All My Children” tribute to James Mitchell

http://www.wchstv.com/abc/allmychildren/i/jamesmitchell.jpgOn Tuesday, April 20, “All My Children” will air a unique memorial tribute to the character of Palmer Cortlandt, played through the late actor James Mitchell, who passed away in January, the year 2010.

Mr. Mitchell joined the cast of “All My Children” in 1979, obtaining created the role of Palmer Cortlandt, the wealthy patriarch of a single of Pine Valley’s most well-known families. His ultimate physical appearance was on January 5th, the year 2010 for the show’s 40th anniversary episode.

Fan favorites Taylor Miller (Nina) and Gillian Spencer ( Daisy) return to pay their respects.

Mr. Mitchell died Friday, January 22, 2010 in Los Angeles of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, difficult by Pneumonia.
