Almost 40,000 ready for 2010 Cooper River Bridge Run
Nearly 40,000 entrants signed as much as take part inside the 2010 Cooper River Bridge Run.
The participants commence lining up at 6:30 am Saturday on the starting line on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.
The route takes the runners, walker and wheelchair participants previous the News 2 studios, across the Ravenel Bridge to downtown Charleston.
The bridge Run started out in 1978 with about 1200 participants and has grown in its thirty-two year history to on the list of Lowcountry’s main annual activities.
