Baltimore County Schools Close Early
More than an inch of snow fell across Maryland from mid-day to early evening Thursday, leading to slippery roads, early school closures and gridlock for commuters within the Baltimore region.
About an inch will likely fall within the Baltimore area this afternoon and evening, with results to the afternoon rush hour, as outlined by National Weather Service forecasts.
Baltimore County Public Schools introduced it would close an hour early, and Dundalk Middle School was closed at noon as a result of a power outage.
The winter climate advisory that had been set to get impact at noon was rather activated at mid-morning and will stay in impact until finally 9 p.m., weather officials said. That includes Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore and Harford counties and Baltimore City.
