Bean sprouts : New E. Coli Suspect
German agricultural authorities on Sunday evening mentioned bean sprouts may have brought on the Escherichia coli bacterial scare. German officials explained late Sunday that domestically grown bean sprouts may be the resource with the Escherichia coli outbreak which has killed 22 folks and sickened a minimum of 1,600.
The agricultural ministry from the German state of Lower Saxony noted a bean-sprout farm examined positive for E. Coli, and deliveries of that product had been tied to a number of restaurants in which diners suffered infections. German authorities have yet to complete testing to determine whether or not the E. coli strain traced to a northern German bean-sprout farm is a match to the deadly situations which have affected people from twelve countries.
