Getting a manager of a team will not give you any rights to judge other folks depending on their character or sexuality. Bowers only showed that his burst was essentially because of to his hatred on homosexuals which resulted to damaging reactions in the crowd specially people who have witnessed the event. Because of this, Bowers got suspended for the rest of the season and was finded $5,000 USD. After facing so many individuals reacting to his bad measures, he decided to resign.

The actions of Bowers have violated certain rules from the sport and must be dealt accordingly to demonstrate baseball fans the fact that committee does not tolerate such responses. The minor league baseball association also additional the fact that contributions of umpires towards the video game is of higher value and importance for each teams, players and fans as well. With this, they should be treated with respect.

Billy Van Raaphorst is just one of the many sports activities officials who’ve faced the anger of group managers and coaches.
