Brad Brownell – Clemson University New Coach

A news conference at the school are going to be held on Tuesday afternoon to confirm Brownell’s appointment, according to Tim Bourrett, Clemson spokesman.

Earlier to Wright Talk about Brownell went 83-40 in 4 seasons as coach of UNC –Wilmington. In 4 years at Ohio’s Wright Think Brownell went 84-45 and took the Raiders to a 20-12-12-06 in the Horizon League.

The eventual NCSS tournament runner-up Butler, were the team that beat Wright Think within the conference championship game. Oliver Purnell who left Clemson was 138-88 which includes three first-round losses within the NCAA.
