Cancer Death Rates Report 2011
Cancer death rates are continuing to drop, but not all segments from the population are benefiting, the American Cancer Society said on Friday. All round, the group predicts 1,596,670 new cancer cases within the Usa and 571,950 deaths in 2011.
Death rates for all cancer types fell by 1.9 % a year from 2001 to 2007 in males and by 1.5 % a year in ladies from 2002 by way of 2007. Death rates for all cancer kinds have fallen in all racial and ethnic teams among each adult males and women given that 1998 using the exception of American Indian/Alaska Native females, amid whom rates had been stable.
