CarMax Foundation gives $125,000 to youth efforts
The CarMax Foundation has awarded $125,000 to Richmond area nonprofit organizations for programs that focus on education and youth leadership.
Recipients include:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond: $25,000
- Family Lifeline: $15,000
- Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden: $15,000
- FeedMore: $11,000
- Communities in Schools: $10,000
- Henrico Police Athletic League: $8,000
- Comfort Zone Camp: $6,000
- Full Circle Grief Center: $6,000
- Greater Richmond Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN): $5,000
- YMCA of Greater Richmond: $5,000
- Children’s Museum of Richmond: $4,000
- Junior Achievement of Central Virginia: $15,000
