Oklahoma Earthquake 2011
A moderate earthquake early Saturday in central Oklahoma (oklahoma earthquake) knocked photos off walls and woke folks and pets because it shook a district that stretched into Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas.
The U.S. Geological Survey said on its web site Saturday that a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 2:12 a.m., with an epicenter concerning six miles north of Prague in Lincoln County. that is concerning fifty miles east of Oklahoma town and seventy five miles southwest of Tulsa.
A 3.4 magnitude aftershock was reported at 2:27 a.m. from a similar location, further as a .7 magnitude aftershock at 2:44 a.m.
Oklahoma Geological Survey researcher Austin Holland told Oklahoma tv station KOTV that the earthquake and aftershocks occurred on a known fault line.
Residents in Prague and Sparks felt an intense shaking, whereas farther away, the quake was additional of a boring rumble, he said.

Wild Animals Loose In Zanesville, Ohio
Police armed with assault rifle are on a huge game hunt in Zanesville, Ohio, this morning right after dozens of wild animals escaped from a private reserve late Tuesday.
police identified the animals’ proprietor Terry Thompson dead in the scene, his body laid out beside dozens of open cages and surrounded by aggressive animals.
Close to 30 with the 48 animals have been shot and killed on Tuesday. Officials were pondering the way to dispose of the remains. Colleges are closed in four districts as they hunt for the remaining predators.
Police won’t say how Thompson died, but stated his death was not suspicious.
Ohio has a few of the mildest restrictions on owning exotic pets and has the highest incident of death due to them.
