Concordia University Texas and Leander ISD faculty and students will quickly venture out to map and identify different characteristics with the Concordia Preserve, a nature and wildlife preserve situated on the university’s lately acquired land. The preserve has not been explored extensively in much more than a decade.

Concordia received an $85,000 grant in the State Farm Youth Advisory Board within the spring that will fund a project to map the preserve and carry out other service-learning actions.
