Crude oil prices were combined Friday since the price of West Texas Intermediate crude was down somewhat about 20 minutes just before the shut of floor trade in Ny, even though Brent crude was lately reported a bit greater in London.

June contracts for West Texas Intermediate crude were down 20 cents to $99.60 per barrel in afternoon trade around the New york Mercantile Exchange, but Brent crude was not long ago noted up 53 cents to $111.33 per barrel on the ICE Futures Europe exchange in London.

The big drop in prices Thursday spurred CME Group (NAS: CME), which owns the brand new York Mercantile Exchange, to boost the limit on how way oil futures can rise or drop inside a session from $10 per barrel to $20 per barrel.
