Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins NASCAR Nationwide Series
The No. three went back to victory lane at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, in which Dale Earnhardt Jr. drove a car that honored his late father to his very first NASCAR victory in more than two years.
“I was so worried that I wasn’t going to win, because nothing but winning was good enough, for everybody in the world,” Earnhardt mentioned following the Subway Jalapeno 250 Nationwide Series race. “If you didn’t win, what a waste of time.”
Joey Logano was second. Tayler Malsam, who lists Seattle as his hometown, was 18th and Derrike Cope of Spanaway was 38th of 43.
