Dennis Blair is resigning as the nation’s intelligence director
Dennis C. Blair is resigning as the nation’s intelligence director after a fairly brief tenure marred by failures of U.S. spy agencies to detect new terrorist plots and by political missteps that undermined his standing using the White House.
In the statement introduced Thursday evening, Blair mentioned his resignation would be efficient in the end with the month. A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated the administration has currently started out interviewing candidates for that business office.
