In this clip, Glover talks becoming a black nerd, which is some thing he’s proud to be. But it wasn’t until trailblazers like Obama and Kanye produced nerdiness acceptable that he was so open about it. Not too lengthy ago, the only reference point individuals had for black nerds was Urkel. But as Glover clarifies, Urkel was no nerd. “Urkel was retarded.”
