Egypt Internet Cut Off

Reports are emerging that Web has gone down in Cairo and through Egypt, only hours prior to the biggest planned protests yet. Every single Egyptian provider, every single business, bank, Internet cafe, website, school, embassy and federal government office that relied to the four Egyptian ISPs for their Internet connectivity is now cut off in the rest of the world.

The Egyptian government’s action could well backfire. Protestors are nonetheless doing work on locating approaches to reconnect, even though this puts all the more concentrate on a regime that previously stated it supported totally free speech.
