5 Michigan State vs 5 Butler: 6:07- Butler (-1.5) over/under 125.5: I tell you, this one is anyone’s guess. We have one of the best Cinderellas in the history of the NCAA Tournament in Butler (and they’re good too) against maybe the best coach in the NCAA right now in Michigan State’s Tom Izzo. Michigan State has been to six Final Fours since 1999 and I think Tom Izzo is going to have his team playing good defense and rebounding. Butler needs to hit from behind the arc and a trip to the NCAA Championship in their home town of Indianapolis could come down to a last second shot. Expect a low score here.
2 West Virginia vs 1 Duke: 8:47- Duke (-2.5) over/under 130.5: These aren’t the teams we expected in the Final Four, but both games should be tight. This is the same story as the first game, it’s all going to be about defense and who can shoot the ball better from behind the arc. It would be something to see West Virginia favored in a NCAA Championship game, but I think Jon Scheyer’s going to come alive and drop about 25 points for a close victory for Duke. Just imagine the coaching matchup of Tom Izzo and Mike Krzyzewski in the NCAA Championship. Not to mention Michigan State making back-to-back title game appearances.
