Floyd Landis accuses Lance Armstrong of doping as he uses
Floyd Landis has admitted he utilized a wide array of performance-enhancing drugs throughout a cycling career that integrated a nullified victory at the 2006 Tour de France. But Landis also has leveled an accusation at Lance Armstrong, his former U.S. Postal Team teammate, saying the seven-time Tour winner also was a drug cheat.
Armstrong has faced doping accusations before, and always has issued a total denial. One allegation came from the wife of a prominent cyclist who said she heard Armstrong confess PED use in his hopsital room, in the ’90s. Other people came when the book L.A. Confidential was published.
Armstrong has frequently stated he have been “the most tested athlete inside the world,” but he hasn’t commented yet on Landis’ accusation. Armstrong has a big Twitter following and tweets nearly everyday on cycling developments, but practically nothing have been posted there nowadays, so far.
