Hopkins Shooting : Two Dead One Injured
Johns Hopkins Hospital became a crime scene these days, when the distraught son of a lady hospitalized there shot her and her physician prior to turning the gun on himself.
The shooter and his mother, Jean Davis, died. The doctor, David B. Cohen, underwent surgical procedure and is anticipated to survive.
Baltimore police identified the shooter as Paul Warren Pardus of Arlington, Va. They are saying he had turn out to be emotionally distraught more than his mother’s condition.
Dr. Cohen, an orthopedic surgeon, collapsed just outdoors Davis’s hospital room.
A nurse in the hospital said Warren was upset about his mother’s therapy was threatening to jump out of the window before the shooting occurred.
Michelle Burrell, who operates in a hospital coffee shop, mentioned she’d heard a equivalent story.
“Basically, he was upset about his mother being paralyzed by the doctor,” Burrell stated . “It’s crazy.”
