How to Move Wordpress Blog to new Hosting

One day, maybe your blog will move to new server hosting. My experience of move blog with wordpress based to new server is easy. Following the steps :

  1. BackUp files in old hosting
    Login to CPANEL in old hosting then select CHECK ALL and compress. Please download the compressed file.
  2. Export database in old hosting
    Login to mySQL database with phpMyAdmin

    • Pick database name
    • Select all table <Check All>, and then click EXPORT
    • Select all table <Select All>, and then click SAVE AS FILE..
    • Click GO
  3. Restore files at new hosting
    Login to CPANEL in new hosting, upload the compressed file (step 1) and EXTRACT
  4. Import database at new hosting
    • Create database and new user (via CPANEL)
    • Login to mySQL database via phpMyAdmin and select database that we made
    • Click IMPORT
    • Click BROWSE, then find *.sql file result of export database at step 2, click OPEN
    • Click GO
  5. Open the FILE MANAGER, edit file wp-config.php and change database name,  user and password compares to new setting.
  6. DONE :D
