Jeff Lacy’s Brother Suspect in Cop Shooting
Two St. Petersburg, Florida police officers were fatally shot, as well as a US Marshal was shot and is also in secure condition while executing to search a suspect on an aggravated battery warrant at a residence in St. Petersburg this morning. A regional news report indicates the suspect from the shooting is Hydra Lacy, Jr., who is the brother of boxer Jeff Lacy, a former super middleweight titlist.
Hydra was arrested in 1988 for grand theft auto, aggravated assault, and resisting arrested, and was imprisoned for a lot more than 3 years. He was then arrested for sexual battery and kidnapping, and spent about 15 years in prison.
