Justin Blackmon Arrested For DUI
Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested Tuesday morning for a DUI report.
The sophomore and three pals have been driving again to Oklahoma from the new York Giants-Dallas Cowboys game in Arlington, Texas when the vehicle they were traveling was pulled over for heading 90 mph in a 60 mph zone per the police report.
The police administered sobriety tests and there was a traceable level of alcohol discovered in Blackmon’s system.
Under Texas law, a minor with any detectable amount of alcohol in his or her system although traveling is deemed driving under the influence. Blackmon won’t turn 21 until eventually January.
He posted bail and was launched from jail.
Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy canceled media interviews for Tuesday.
Blackmon has 1,112 yards on 62 catches and 14 touchdowns for that Cowboys (6-1) this season. He leads the nation in getting yards (158.6) and is 2nd in receptions per sport (8.86).
Oklahoma State plays Kansas State in Manhattan Saturday.
