Katy ISD Schools back to Normal Schedule
All Katy ISD schools are working on the regular schedule as of now, without course interruptions expected for today. The Katy ISD Emergency Management Crew is monitoring current weather conditions, together with the forecast arrival of the expected winter precipitation later these days.
If district officials ultimately decide an early dismissal is necessary, junior high campuses will dismiss at 12:35 p.m. and elementary campuses will dismiss at 1:40 p.m.
Parents can receive school closings via e-mail or text alerts at www.school-alerts.com and www.safeschoolalerts.org. The district stressed both sites are administered by third parties and not by Katy ISD.
