Kristen Lee Was Harassed by Yankees Fans
Kristen Lee, the spouse of Texas Rangers ace pitcher Cliff Lee, told USA Today she was treated badly by Yankees fans when she sat inside the going to family segment of Yankee Stadium inside the course of the American League Championship Series.
That’s poor news for the Yankees, who are observed because the front runner to receive Lee’s services when free agency begins after the World Series. Might be great information for the Red Sox, if they decide to play ball inside the Cliff Lee sweepstakes.
“The fans did not do good things in my heart,” Kristen Lee told USA Today. “When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it’s hard not to take it personal.”
The newspaper reported that Kristen Lee mentioned fans created “ugly taunts,” shouted obscenities, threw cups of beer and spat from the section above the visitor household seats.
