Martin Short’s Wife Dies at 58
Martin Short’s wife of 30 years has died of cancer. Nancy Dolman, an actress who met Martin Short whilst functioning over a Canadian production from the musical “Godspell” in the 1970s, was only 58 years old. Nancy Dolman retired from acting in 1985 to concentrate on raising the three kids she had with Martin.
Martin Short is no stranger to death. He lost his brother inside a automobile accident when Martin was only 12 and both his mother and father died before he was 21. On his parents’ deaths, Martin as soon as remarked, “I never looked at it as if it was a tragedy — that I didn’t have them my whole life. You learn some sense of priorities. Our whole family took the attitude that if you have wonderful moments, don’t second-guess them, just enjoy them.”
Nancy Dolman had been battling cancer for 3 years. She died on August 23, 2010 in California. There will be no funeral solutions per her request.
