Roque claims Lauer cheated during his coverage of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The Enquirer says Lauer walked out on her over the allegations.
Lauer, the Enquirer reports, “went wild” at nightspots in Vancouver and became cozy with two female Canadian broadcasters. He then stayed longer than necessary right after NBC’s coverage wrapped up.
The couple reportedly may be residing apart for two months.
“I heard he and Annette are breaking up. I was not shocked to hear that but it’s very sad,” Lauer’s ex-wife, Nancy Alspaugh, tells the Enquirer.
Roque has previously filed for divorce from Lauer in 2006, although she was pregnant with their third child, but withdrew the request.
