There’s a milk recall right after a report that a Midland Farms plant’s faulty tools that did not correctly pasteurize the milk. Unpasteurized milk can cause illnesses such as salmonella. Milk sold in New Jersey and four other Northeastern states has been recalled simply because it might not have been effectively pasteurized.

If you have milk using the plant code 36-1661 having a Sept. 24th date code, return it or chuck it again. But when you chuck it out, ensure you call the store and report the reality that you just had purchased the milk subject to this recall so the store can notify the appropriate folks (whoever they may be)
