http://blackchristiannews.com/news/NedYost-01.jpgRoyals general manager Dayton Moore introduced Thursday that manager Trey Hillman has been fired and Ned Yost will replace him.

Hillman, 47, was 151-207 in two-plus seasons with Kansas City. The Royals got off to a rough begin this 12 months and are 12-23 and in last place inside the American League Central.

Yost, 55, managed the Milwaukee Brewers from 2003-2008, exactly where he was 457-502 (.477 winning pct.) prior to becoming relieved of his duties on Sept. 15, 2008. He joined the Royals as a specific advisor in January.

Moore introduced the move following the Royals beat the Cleveland Indians 6-4 and Zack Greinke picked up his initial victory with the season.
