New York Rangers forward has passed away at the age of 28
Terribly tragic news while in the hockey world tonight as New york Rangers forward Derek Boogaard has passed away with the age of 28.
Boogaard was found dead within his apartment in Minneapolis by household members. No cause of death is recognized at the second, but an autopsy is going to be carried out.
Boogaard played 277 NHL games between the Minnesota Wild and Rangers. He very last played on Dec. 9 and missed the rest of his 1st season in Ny which has a concussion he endured after a fight with Ottawa’s Matt Carkner. Generally known as “The Boogey Man” for currently being one in the league’s toughest fighters, Boogaard dropped the gloves 61 times during his six-year NHL career.
The autopsy results will not be identified for a few weeks.
