Nicole Bobek Gets Probation for Meth Charges
Nicole Bobek, who was when a U.S. figure skating champion, continues to be provided 5 years in probation for her participation in the New Jersey methamphetamine ring.
“Nothing but positive things can come out of this,” said Bobek following the trial ended outside the Jersey City courtroom. “It’s been a long 1 1/2 years. I’m looking to get back onto that ice.”
In June, Bobek pleaded guilty towards the charge of conspiring to distribute crystal meth. The leader from the meth ring was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
In addition to the probation time, Nicole Bobek will will need to serve 250 hours of community support and pay a fine of $2,500.
“I believe I can help others. I plan to change my life around and do something with it,” she mentioned.
