Port Authority Service in Pittsburgh
Most Port Authority bus and rail routes have resumed service Tuesday early morning soon after a hefty snowstorm struck Pittsburgh forcing officials to shut down services at ten p.m. on Monday.
Bus and T service knowledgeable some delays and conditions from the aspect streets played a major role.Some of the side streets in Pittsburgh haven’t been treated. Therefore, buses are unable to travel on them. At a single level Tuesday early morning, twenty five bus lines ended up out of service.
Lines that weren’t impacted ended up:
- 61 A, B, C, D
- 71 A, C, D
- 13 A
- 8
- 59
East and west busway was also in service. The Mon Incline is up and operating and T light rail is operating on the regular schedule. Riders are being recommended to check the status of their bus route by calling the Port Authority Customer Service line at (412)-442-2000 or by browsing their internet site.
