Rich Cronin Died
The singer from the ’90s boy band LFO, who wrote the 1999 strike ‘Summer Girls‘ suffered a stroke after a lengthy battle with leukemia, TMZ.com reports.
Richard Burton “Rich” Cronin (August 30, 1975 – September 8, 2010) was an American singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer and main songwriter for thepop group LFO.
Rich Cronin was the founding member of the pop group LFO. The group’s breakout hit Summer Girls, written by Cronin in 1999, hit #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales chart for six weeks. The single also went platinum in the US with sales of over 1,000,000 units. The members of LFO broke up in 2002 to pursue other endeavors. (wikipedia)
