Royal Wedding Invitation
About 1,800 people will likely be sent an invite for the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton which will take place on April 29, 2011.
The invites were sent out Thursday night, but simply because there are so many it took until eventually Friday for them to complete.
Distributed by the Lord Chamberlain’s office, the invites to “the Marriage of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales, K.G. with Miss Catherine Middleton” stipulate that attendees of the 11 a.m. ceremony are anticipated to dress in “uniform, morning coat or lounge suit.”
The couple’s wedding is expected to become the biggest royal event since Prince Charles married Diana in 1981.
