Seattle Seahawks trade for LenDale White and Leon Washington

The Seattle Seahawks did a whole lot of redecorating to their backfield Saturday. Very first, they swapped fourth- and sixth-round picks with the Tennessee Titans for LenDale White. A couple hours later, Jets working back Leon Washington became a Seahawk for that price of a fifth- and seventh-round pick.
White created it identified a few months ago that he didn’t desire to be a second fiddle to Chris Johnson any longer. Washington became expendable when the Jets selected versatile operating back Joe McKnight inside the fourth round Saturday. Now both will join Justin Forsett and Julius Jones on the Seahawks’ current roster, however, it seems unlikely that the veteran Jones will stick around.
