A guy who was denied access to a personal get together at an apartment near Seton Hall University left and returned having a handgun, fatally shooting a university student and wounding four other people.

Seton Hall student Jessica Moore, 19, died from her accidents at three:20 p.m. Saturday, stated Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Workplace. Moore had been hospitalized in critical condition after the shooting just right after midnight.

The other four victims were hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries. One has since been released, mentioned East Orange Police Sgt. Andrew Di Elmo.

Di Elmo stated the victims did not know the shooter, who fled on foot.

Police have been providing a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s capture.
