Solar Flare Video 2011
Yesterday morning, a massive eruption occurred about the sun, making a solar flare and explosion of large energy particles.The video clip shows darker, relatively cool material splashing back again onto the sun’s surface as it can be drawn in by the star’s intense magnetic pull.
“It’s not necessarily anything space weather … it’s just really, really beautiful.” NASA scientist C. Alex Young explained.
