Supreme Court Sides in Wal-Mart Sex Case
The Supreme Court on Monday blocked a huge sex discrimination lawsuit towards Wal-Mart on behalf of female staff inside a decision that makes it tougher to mount large-scale bias claims towards the nation’s most significant companies.
The justices all agreed the lawsuit versus Wal-Mart Stores Inc. could not commence as being a class action in its present form, reversing a choice by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
