Granite State of Mind
Song parodies are nothing new, but Christian Wisecarver is experiencing newfound attention thanks to his parody of the hit song Empire State of Mind, a collaboration between artists Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Wisecarver, a graduate of Timberlane High School, posted Granite State of Mind on YouTube on Wednesday. The lyrics to the parody infuse different aspects of New Hampshire, just as the original does with parts of New York.
The video is four minutes, 43 seconds long — the exact same length as the original Jay-Z video. It had already garnered nearly 200,000 hits, as of early Friday morning.

Essence Music Festival 2010
Essence Music Festival 2010 will take place this year on July two down in New Orleans, Louisiana. The annual festival begins on July two and goes via July four.
The three day multi-stage event will be held in the New Orleans Superdome. Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, and Alicia Keys will be playing the festival. You will find a ton of other acts who is going to be performing their too.
