The Dark Knight Rises Poster Release
Warner Bros. has released the very first teaser poster for the third and ultimate Christopher Nolan-directed Batman film, “The Dark Knight Rises,” and it’s as dark and mysterious as a single may well expect. Panning up by way of a seemingly post-apocalyptic Gotham, the well-known Bat signal tears through the roofs of shattered properties, calling on their hero in a very time of desperation.
Christian Bale will take his final turn Batman, with Gary Oldman back as Commissioner Gordon and Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing a new ally in the Gotham Police Department. Anne Hathaway will take on Selena Kyle/Catwoman, while Marion Cotillard is slated to play Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises employee. Josh Pence is going evil as young Ra’s al Ghul, and Matthew Modine and Joey King also have small parts in the film.
