The Outback Bowl – Penn State vs. Florida
Florida Gators has accepted a bid to play Penn State within the Outback Bowl.
The Gators will likely be enjoying inside a bowl game for the 20th consecutive season. It is their fourth trip towards the Outback Bowl, that will be played on New Year’s Day at Raymond James Stadium.
Penn State also will probably be generating its fourth Outback appearance. The Nittany Lions very last performed in the game in opposition to Tennessee in 2007.
Florida faced Iowa in the 2006 Outback Bowl.
The Gators and Nittany Lions have met twice just before. Florida beat Penn State 17-7 from the 1962 Gator Bowl and defeated the Nittany Lions 21-6 within the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1, 1998.
