Johnny Depp stars as an American tourist whose playful dalliance having a stranger leads to a internet of intrigue, romance and danger within the Tourist. In the course of an impromptu journey to Europe to mend a damaged heart, Frank (Depp) unexpectedly finds himself in a flirtatious experience with Elise (Angelina Jolie), an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his route. Towards the breathtaking backdrop of Paris and Venice, their whirlwind romance speedily evolves as they discover themselves unwittingly thrust into a deadly recreation of cat and mouse.
