Tiger Woods Returns at 2010 Masters
Tiger Woods will go back to golf at next month’s Masters
From a statement Tuesday, Woods said he will play at Augusta National soon after going on a four month rehat in the middle of a far-reaching sex scandal. This would be the first time Woods will compete in a golf tournament since a fender bender over Thanksgiving weekend set off a chain of events that led to the outing of greater than a dozen mistresses.
“The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect,” Woods said in a statement.“After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta. The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played.”
The Masters begins April 8.
You know Tiger has taken the most amount of punishment he could have possible taken for what he did (other than his wife leaving him)
