After 10 years of marriage, Troy Aikman and wife, Rhonda Aikman, will divorce.

The former Dallas Cowboy confirms the split towards the Dallas Morning News on Tuesday (Jan. 25), though the couple has reportedly been separated because November when Rhonda bought a property in North Dallas.

“This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have made a decision to separate. We remain deeply committed to our children.” Aikerman explained.

They married in 2000 and also have two daughters collectively. Rhonda in addition includes a daughter from a earlier marriage.

The former QB is slated to show up around the Fox broadcast of Super Bowl XLV, when the Pittsburgh Steelers deal with off against the Green Bay Packers in Cowboys Stadium.

    There was always talk during his playing days that he was gay. I was so happy he married thinking it could not be true. Will this talk start again?
