U.S. student dies in Saltwater Crocodile attack in India’s Andaman Islands
Four several years after burying a single daughter who died inside a rock-climbing accident, a new Jersey family is mourning the reduction of their second daughter, who was killed by a saltwater crocodile whilst snorkeling in India’s Andaman Islands.
On April 28, Lauren Failla, 25, was enjoying a family vacation with her boyfriend right after earning her master’s degree in art at Sotheby’s Art work Institute in London. She disappeared during a snorkeling outing. Two days later on, her remains, mauled by a giant saltwater crocodile, had been recovered.
