Umami Burger, southern California’s new, Japanese-flavored burger chain, is expanding having a new twist – a delicatessen dedicated to umami.
The umami flavor is the so-called “fifth taste” beyond sweet, sour, bitter, and salty, often called savoriness or “meaty” taste. And also the Umamicatessen, as a result of open in Los angeles this summer season, will include four or 5 restaurants that offer foods with the umami flavor.
