Bradford Burgess scored 23 points and 11th-seeded VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) produced it three victories in 5 days Sunday night time, routing third-seeded Purdue 94-76 to make a trip towards the Southwest regional semifinals.

VCU’s outstanding run sends the Rams towards the round of sixteen for that 1st time in school history. VCU (26-11) will now play the winner of Notre Dame-Florida State on Friday in San Antonio.

Jamie Skeen added thirteen points, Joey Rodriguez scored 12 points and had 11 assists and VCU shot 57 percent and had 26 assists to just four turnovers.
