Verizon iPhone Coming Early Next Year
Verizon iphone will be entering mass production from the end of the yr. Apple will start mass-producing the device, which will probably be based around the CDMA technology employed in Verizon-compatible phones, from the end of 2010, the paper said, citing “people briefed by Apple.” The source claims to become “briefed by Apple,” which gives this rumor the usual level of credibility, however it does make some sense if Apple intends to offer a variant from the iphone 4 just before introducing the iphone 5 in June of 2011. The enjoyable issue is that if the earlier rumors were true, this can be the type of leak that might follow. But right up until Steve Jobs gets up on stage together with his counterpart at Verizon and they embrace like brothers, I’m remaining skeptical.
This kind of issue may get “confirmed” by greater orders of iphone 4 displays or cameras more than the next couple of months, but there’s no way to be sure. In the meantime, we’ve heard chatter that Qualcomm has had iPhone-related projects underway for some time now, but again, this is all what we in the detective business call circumstantial evidence. I doubt we’ll get a sneak peak this time around, both.
