Washington State Unemployment Delayed

Washington State unemployment checks is going to be delayed by a personal computer system this week. The Washington State unemployment workplaces are undergoing a serious computer programming undertaking, and this is apparently going to bring about delays for individuals requesting unemployment checks.

Based on KOMO News, claims filed on Sunday Nov. 28 and Monday Nov. 29 could be delayed up to two days as the new computer venture is put into play. Essentially it signifies that claims aren’t becoming processed at the moment, and that the division won’t start off processing claims again till Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The bad information was posted around the ESD website, in which it was posted that, “Due to some computer processing that must be completed, there will be a one- to two-day delay in paying approved unemployment claims that are filed on Sunday, November 28. We expect to return to our normal processing schedules by Wednesday, December 1.
