Wiesmann Roadster MF3
Wiesmann Roadster MF3 will preserve its existing engine as the MF4 and MF5 design series will likely be upgrading to new engine types. Weismann hopes to bank on BMW twin turbo technologies for his or her model collection MF4 and MF5.
Wiesmann announced that it is going to substitute the V10 engine from MF4 and MF5 models with a V8 twin-turbo engine that develops 407 HP for MF4 and 555 HP for MF5. This may permit the MF4 design to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 181 mph. For the MF5, the acceleration from 0-60 mph may be accomplished in 3.9 seconds, using the top pace currently being 193 mph.
What was the cause behind the removal using the V10 engine from the Wiesmann range? Manufacturers wanted to stop the manufacturing of this type of engine.
