Wisconsin Recall Primaries
All six Wisconsin Democrats won their recall primaries these days, quickly fending off challenges from “protest” candidates set ahead by Republicans to delay the general elections.
Right after recall elections had been triggered in opposition to six Republican state senators over the state’s contentious collective bargaining law, Republicans released “protest” candidates in every single primary to offer their incumbents much more time to campaign.
